P.C.M. series “S” mechanical screw jacks can be used for: lifting, traversing, handling, and any other type of linear movement requiring high thrust capacity.
A rotating rod jack with a bronze nut where the rotary motion of the worm screw is transmitted to the threaded rod. On it is the nut that, by contrast, generates an axial thrust.
Their simple construction makes them particularly durable and suitable for heavy-duty use, while lubrication with long-life grease considerably reduces maintenance.
If mechanical screw jacks are installed in the same system, they can be connected in series by means of shafts, joints and spiral bevel gear reducers in order to synchronise them perfectly; in this way, even unbalanced loads can be handled.
